Glazed earthenware tile, 4″x4″
Each tile has been painted with cobalt underglaze. I have hand-drawn and used a sgraffito technique to scratch the surface of the underglaze to create the image.
Tiles are glazed and can be grouted onto walls or kept as beautiful pieces.
Mermaids legends occur all across the world. Although often represented as creatures of danger, mermaids are also considered to be benevolent beings that bring blessings to humans. They symbolise the seduction of the seas.
Tiles may be made to order. When on back order, please allow three weeks from order to delivery.
