Who are you, where are you from and what do you make?

I’m Vonnie from the knitwear label Snudoll. I’m born and bred in London. I’m a hand knitter mainly making knitted accessories for adults.

What inspires you?

I’m inspired by lots of things – I’m very much a visual magpie, but my mainstays are interesting colour mixes, objects that are well crafted, textures and people with fun style.

Your favourite studio lunch?

What would you like to learn next?

Like most of us, I’m spending more time at home, so I’m keen to get more hands on with making furniture, accessories and designing my home space so that it works better.

How do you let your hair down?

I love ‘activity socials’ like bowling but dancing is my fave activity – now being held in my kitchen.

What are you listening to at the moment?

I listen to a lot of podcasts from politics to art/design to quiz shows. Music wise I’ve got the Hamilton soundtrack and 80’s/90’s RnB in my ears.

What makes you feel well chuffed?

Having a knit idea or pattern in mind, working it out and having it turn out as I expected or better – that’s always a nice feelin
