About the Maker:
We are Fungus and Mold, A couple based in West Sussex. We are wooden block carvers and printers. Our inspirations for our prints can come from anywhere and everywhere. We spend a silly amount of time sitting on the floors of second hand book shops flicking through gardening, design, art and history books. We also get inspired by exploring the English countryside and reading fairytales from around the world.
Maud- From an early age I started sewing and making my own small things. I always new I wanted to do something involving pattern and colour. I have now combined my knowledge for digital design with my love of hand printing and colour mixing to create fun prints for Fungus & Mold.
Angus-The other half of F&M is a practical and calm influence with a flair for fun colours and patterns. He has learned to use the CNC machine that we bought second hand and use to carve each block, and is a dab hand at printing.
We want our pieces to become part of your home, and be layered and mixed with your other treasured items.Â
